To efficiently manage the project’s complexity, an intelligible work plan over 4 years, has been developed. It is organized in 8 WPs, realizing several iterations between the RTD and integration activities.
WP1 – Requirements and Specifications analysis
This work package will allow focused scientific-industry-business discussion between the business cases and the generic design, which will be developed iteratively throughout the project.
WP2 – SHERLOCK – Soft robotics collaborative – Production Station
This WP will provide the SHERLOCK soft robotics solutions and how their HRC characteristics will be further enhanced with smart mechatronics, sensors and software to meet the pilot requirements.
WP3 – Human-centred interaction & awareness
WP4 – Artificial Intelligence enabled HRC
WP4 is dedicated to the activities related to the design and development of the perception and AI-related modules that will enable cognition and autonomy to the robotic resources.
WP5 – Design for Safe HRC and Certification
WP5 will undertake all design and development activities related to the safety design and validation of HRC cells.
WP6 – Pilot case execution and demonstration
The tasks under WP6 are oriented towards demonstrating the capabilities of the SHERLOCK developments. In this WP the four project pilot cases will be implemented.
WP7 – Exploitation, Dissemination and Standardization
The main objective of this work package will be to ensure that the project results will be properly disseminated by project partners and that the technologies produced from research activities will be exploited by industrial partners.
WP8 – Project Management
The purpose of this WP is to cover the overall management of and high-level co-ordination of the project.
